Poor design and performance

Im pretty disappointed with this model. It uses a ton of water It doesnt have as many washing options as my last washing machine. I cannot add a full load or it says its off balance. Though people who installed leveled it. And we have checked it make sure its level and it is.. so I dont know what wrong with it. I called and they said it must not be leveled but it is and thats not whats wrong with it. If I try to wash towels or bedding forget it. It all goes to one side and throws an error and wont spin the water out. I have to take our bedding to the laundry mat.. Id go with a different option if I knew this before hand.

I have not been happy with my washing machine at all I have to wash EVERYTHING with a deep wash setting or else laundry residue is left on my clothes. This is with it being set to hot deep fill and heavy load. I have also reached out to LG twice now and they keep telling me some one with the Presidential dept will be getting in contact with me within 48 hours EVEN TEXTED CONFIRMATION NUMBERS and as of today I have yet to hear from them This product has been a thorn in my side and it is not worth the money I spent on it

LG Washer - Replaced a GE Lemon

After being without a washer for a month my family was happy to get this new washer. I read a lot of mixed reviews on this product that swayed my opinion a bit before purchasing this washer. There were more good than bad reviews so I purchased it anyway. So far so good for my family after 2 months. There are lots of sounds and noise that happen during the wash cycles with I do intend on calling LG at some point to see if all this stuff is normal. I know I can turn off some of the noises once I read the owners manual. But this is a busy season and I am thankful not to have to go to the laundromat anymore. Our close are clean and the product seems to be functioning as expected.

Water level does not even cover clothes. Agitation is so weak it does not get the clothes under water. Had to buy a sink hose sprayer to add water to the washer for wash and rinse cycle. Uses such little water that heavy soiled clothes will make your other clothes come out dirtier then before wash. So you ha e to add water for proper wash.

DO NOT BUY - poor quality and terrible service

If there was a negative option I would select it. Please dont by this washer or any LG brand products. Their customer service has been terrible. I have been without a washer for over a month. They ordered me a part and when the repair man brought it the part was broken upon arrival so I had to wait an additional two weeks for them to repair it. Once it was repaired after a second attempt first use left my clothes destroyed. They would not reimburse me for any of it. And now i am another two weeks out from that waiting on a new part but wait they never came to assess if it was installed wrong they just decided to order parts anyway when in fact it may be a simple fix. I requested that I just be refunded for the washer but someone made up a policy they have to try to repair three times before they can do so which I think is ridiculous with the amount of time I have waited. The customer service is a joke sending you texts to communicate important information I find this cowardly and unprofessional. In addition the amount of time I have wasted on the phone and having to leave work to meet the repair person is all ridiculous. I bought my washer in February it shouldnt be broken within the first year. Their company is corrupt and their products are of poor quality. I have never left a review on anything in my life but this has me beside myself the way a company would treat a customer.

Barely cover clothes with water. Need longer cycle to get all clothes wet. Agitation is slow so pretreatment of soiled clothes is needed. My old cheap Estate washer beats this hands down. Should of replaced switch and kept my old washer. This washer and dryer is junk.

You get barely enough water to cover clothes and you better set it for a longer wash time to make sure all the clothes get wet. The agitation is very slow so make sure to pre treat scrub knees or any heavy soil clothes unless you dont mind dirty clothes. I had a cheap estate washer that would out beat this any day of the week for cleaning clothes. A switch went out and my dryer was 40 years old so I decided to replace. What a mistake. The washer and dryer is junk. Hand wash your clothes or go to laundromat if you want clean clothes. I am checking to see if the cheap washers are more like the older ones and if they are I am selling these new pieces of junk.

I purchased an LG top washer 9 months ago and had a defect in the water pump. The process to reach someone was very frustrating and disappointing. The LG technician didnt come but they sent a Sears technician to solve the problem and this process took 2 1/2 weeks leaving me no service which lead me to going to an laundromat with promise to refund me of my troubles and I have not been compensated or heard from the LG company.

After the first load ready to send it back After the SENSORS got acclimated 3-4th load will NEVER let it go Will never own a washing machine without a glass lid The tunes it plays at the end is icing on the cake. It is actually very intelligent Load was out of balance so it went through an additional rinse cycle to balance the load to spin so dry. Driest clothes EVER at the end of the cycle.

I received this a few months ago. For years I have been wanting one like this but Ive had some issues. First off if it gets clogged its harder to take apart second it definitely needs to be babied it leaves a lingering smell sometimes. I tub wash my washer atleast once a month if not more. Some of my clothes have been ripped from it. My husbands a carpenter so i need it to get the heavy dirt clothes clean it works to an extent. They tube is very large and you will need long arms to reach the bottom. im still having difficulty with the app. Seems you can only preset one custom wash.

The worst washer machine

I bought it 5 months ago and wait to put a review after giving enough time to prove the quality of the washer. It is the worst washer that I ever had. It doesnt put enough water in to even wash a small load . Clothes come out with dry patches and are not clean. I have to wash them again using the deep wash option which is a huge waste or water power and time and the clothes come out the same dirty. I used to have a LG washer with a big capacity and I never had those problems it has a permanent cycle and was for 32 minutes and my clothes use to come out very clean. But y had to replace my old washer after 15 years of use without a problem until last December and I bought the new one in Home Depot and I regret it.

Love the color. Went with the LG washer/dryer. Read reviews and talked to friends. Every setting you can imagine and more. The spin cycle takes out the majority of water from the clothes and results in less drying time for hanging clothes as well those placed in the dryer.

I am very happy with my new LG Top Loading washer. I have always had front loading washers and was a bit hesitant to go with top loader. But I feel I get an excellent wash and many options to Taylor it to the items being washed.

I bought this a few months ago and I am happy with my purchase. I prefer the old school top loader with agitator over front loaders and no agitator. I will say you will have to run a cleaning cycle as there is a sour smell that appears about every 3 months. We use our machine A lot So Im sure Im having to clean it more than normal.

The peace and quiet I have been waiting for

I have so desperately wanted a washer that didnt try to take the doors off the hinges every time it hit a spin cycle. No matter the fix it always felt like an earthquake when doing laundry. Not no more This machine is quiet I mean whisper quiet. The app is wonderful tells me when there is an issue and stops itself to report the issue before destroying anything. For context it notified me that the load was uneven and I should adjust it before restarting. Thank you washer I love it seriously love it.

Met my desires

At first I was worried after reading all of the negative reviews I could find. We have low water pressure at times in our home and worried the machine would error out or that it would not even get my clothes all the way wet as those were issues we were reading online but the machine has been working wonderfully so far. I do wish there was a light for the washer like there is with the dryer and I wish the lighting on the display was better it is hard to see if the room is not well lit even with the built in lights. Overall it has been working well and is plenty large enough for my king comforter.

I purchased this a month ago and have been incredibly happy. I love the sleek look of the silver and the overall sophistication of the product. Its quiet and works great I had to get used to the sophistication of this as I was old school and was used to turning a knob and pushing. Not anymore This is so easy to use and understand.
